Account deletion

Delete your ChoreClub account

You can delete your ChoreClub account directly in the app. If you cannot access the app, use the verified email request path below.

Account deletion is permanent. It cannot be undone once completed.

Delete in the app

This is the fastest way to delete your account because you are already signed in and ownership is verified.

    Open ChoreClub

    Sign in with the account you want to delete.

    Go to More, then Profile

    Open your profile settings from the More tab.

    Choose Delete account

    Confirm the deletion prompt. The app signs you out after the request completes.

If you cannot access the app

Submit the email address used for your ChoreClub account. We verify account ownership before processing deletion requests.

Verified deletion requests are processed within 7 days. Prefer email? Write to privacy@choreclubapp.com. The email address you submit here is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

What deletion includes

  • Your sign-in account, profile details, device tokens, and personal availability data are deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

  • Your account link and direct identifiers are removed. Some shared household records may remain associated with a generic “Former member” label. Depending on the context, remaining household members may still be able to infer who performed an action.

  • If you created or owned a household with other active members, ownership is handed off before your account is removed.
